DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the pharmacy's daily operations and human resources (ie. inventory management, ordering, P&L statements, scheduling, new team member orientation, training, engagement etc.)
• Ensure pharmacy team works cohesively to complete necessary activities.
• Developing and implementation of business growth strategies and plans.
• Provide professional and clinical functions related to dispensing, such as pharmaceutical and clinical care, patient counseling, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.
• Ensure adherence and maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy (i.e. customer records, narcotic and controlled drug records)
• Provide timely responses to customer needs and requests from other healthcare providers.
• Ensure narcotic and controlled drug inventory is handled, counted and documented as required by federal and provincial regulatory bodies.
• Ensure proper preparation, packaging, distribution, and storage of all inventory Operations.
• Assist with general dispensary cleanliness and maintenance. Use written and verbal methods to communicate all outstanding issues to corresponding team members.
• Ensuring implementation and adherence to policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drug distribution. • Consistently uphold employment standards.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Licensed and in good standing with College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a retail Pharmacist (preferred)
• Certificate of Injection for Drug Administration
• Possess entrepreneurial abilities and a will to grow the business.
• Ability to lead, coach, and encourage staff.
• Capability to collaborate with the front-store staff to find possibilities for patient care.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-directed and able to work independently.
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism.

• Monday to Saturday: 9:00AM - 5:30PM
