Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Manager to join "Clarke’s Pharmacy , located in Manitoba.

Position Details:

· Up to 40 hrs / week

· PT/FT option

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy and actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement. The Pharmacy Manager will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in the areas of patient focused care, customer service and workflow efficiencies.

· Focus on clinical services (i.e., medication reviews, disease state management)

· Initiate care plans, follow up and document

· Administer vaccines

· Determine appropriateness of drug therapy

· Monitor medication adherence

· Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information

· Recommend OTC products and vitamins

· Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment

· Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities

Qualifications & Skills:

· Licensed and in good standing with College of Pharmacists of Manitoba

· Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred)

· Possess entrepreneurial abilities and a will to grow the business

· Ability to lead, coach, and encourage staff

· Capability to collaborate with the front-store staff to find possibilities for patient care

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Self-directed and able to work independently.

· Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
