Stafford Pharmacy is looking for a committed and experienced pharmacist to take on the role of a Pharmacy Manager. We are an independent community pharmacy located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The incumbent will work closely with the management team to ensure standard operating procedures, policies and applicable laws and regulations are followed.

Responsibilities:
• Pharmacy management
• Dispensing medications
• Filling, preparing, checking and dispensing patient prescriptions
• Administration of vaccines and other injectable medication
• Providing full scope of practice for patient care including medication reviews
• Working collaboratively with patients’ physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure positive drug therapy outcomes
• Conducting immunization clinics
• Engaging in community outreach programs
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy
• Pharmacy inventory maintenance
• Ensuring proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines and other drugs and pharmaceuticals
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Narcotic and controlled drug accountability and maintenance
• All other duties and responsibilities of the pharmacy manager in a community pharmacy setting as set out by the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba

Qualifications:
• Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
• Previous pharmacy manager experience (preferred)
• Meet the requirements to be designated pharmacy manager
• Certificate of Injection Administration
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Superior patient and physician relation skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent leadership and performance management skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred)
• Working experience with Kroll Pharmacy dispensing software (preferred)
