SpiritRx Services is an industry leader in managing the fulfillment, logistics, and delivery of service excellence in Pharmacy and Medical Supplies.
We have been focused on providing medication delivery and service to people in rural and remote communities for nearly a generation!
We have a large facility employing 12 pharmacists, 3 Certified Technicians, and 30+ support staff.
Position Summary
The Director of Pharmacy will oversee our pharmacy's overall operations, ensuring excellence in service delivery, regulatory compliance, and business growth. This individual will lead and support a strong management team, optimize financial and operational performance, and develop strategic partnerships to advance the pharmacy’s success. This role would be a Monday to Friday daytime position offering a stable work environment within a rapidly growing organization!
Key Responsibilities
- · Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the management team and pharmacy staff.
- · Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and enhance pharmacy services.
- · Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and operational efficiencies to maintain profitability.
- · Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including licensing and accreditation of the pharmacy, DEL, and MDEL.
- · Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, government, Indigenous communities, suppliers, and industry partners.
- · Identify new opportunities for business development and expansion of pharmacy services.
- · Implement best practices in pharmacy operations, ensuring high patient care and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- · Licensed Pharmacist in Manitoba in good standing.
- · Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in a pharmacy setting.
- · Strong operational and financial acumen with experience managing budgets and business performance.
- · Proven ability to mentor and develop management teams.
- · High level of knowledge in Kroll, including pricing configuration and financial reporting.
- · Excellent networking, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- · Experience with regulatory licensing and compliance in a pharmacy setting.
- · Previous Experience in DEL or MDEL licensing and operations is an asset.
- · Experience practicing in a distance care setting is an asset.
