Salary Range: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Reports To: Director of Pharmacy

Job Summary:

As a pharmacist with SpiritRx, you will be part of a collaborative and high-energy team dedicated to innovative distance-care pharmacy practices. We believe in a care-over-commerce philosophy—prioritizing patient needs today while exploring sustainable solutions for tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

This role is all about team support, accountability, potential and purpose. The responsibilities within the pharmacy team will include:

· Provide clinical services and medication management for patients in remote communities.

· Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

· Ensure accurate prescription processing, packaging, and dispensing.

· Offer patient-centered counselling and education via phone or virtual consultations.

· Support specialized pharmacy services, including diabetes care, substance-use disorder treatment, and infectious disease management.

· Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

· Completion of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy program from a recognized institution

· Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba.

· Strong clinical knowledge and a passion for patient care.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide remote counselling and support.

· Experience in Indigenous healthcare, chronic disease management, or distance-care pharmacy is an asset.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

 

Working Condition:

· Majority office hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

· Large Corporate Pharmacy and office environment, shipping and receiving
