As a Relief Pharmacist, you play a vital role in supporting our communities by bringing compassionate, high-quality care to multiple pharmacy locations. This role offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to build meaningful connections with patients and teams across different neighbourhoods. What You’ll Do (and Why It Matters)
You will be responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care while supporting pharmacy teams across multiple locations.
Your role will include:
- Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing, clinical services, and vaccination delivery.
- Ensuring accurate prescription review and compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
- Providing patient counselling and clinical services such as medication management and health screenings.
- Collaborating with prescribers and healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Administering injections, including vaccines and long-acting injectable therapies.
- Supporting inventory management and maintaining organized, efficient pharmacy workflows.
- Contributing to a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment at each location.
- Adapting quickly to different pharmacy settings while maintaining consistent standards of care.
- Remaining current with pharmacy practice standards, new medications, and emerging clinical opportunities.

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution, with a passion for delivering safe, patient-centred care.
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba as a practicing pharmacist.
- Commitment to maintaining all required certifications and professional standards with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba.
- Authorization to administer medications by advanced method and pharmacist prescribing, or a willingness to obtain these certifications to expand patient access to care.
- A self-motivated and adaptable professional who is comfortable working independently across multiple locations while also integrating seamlessly into different pharmacy teams.
- Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to stay calm and focused in fast-paced community pharmacy environments.
- 1–2 years of community pharmacy experience is considered an asset, though motivated new graduates with a patient-first mindset are welcome to apply.
- Experience with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset, with confidence learning new systems as needed.
Operational Hours & Schedule:
Operational hours and Schedule will vary by location however are predominantly day shifts Monday to Friday with no evenings or work on stat holidays. Saturday hours are limited and relief pharmacists may work 1 in 3 or 4 subject to the needs of the business.
